Are you planning a VI Sampling Event before Spring?

by Will Elcoate

Many States consider samples collected in “heating season” up to March 31st. Samples collected under the most conservative conditions can confirm the presence or absence of a completed Vapor Intrusion Pathway. Weather can extend these conditions into April provided it stays cold; buildings closed up and heating systems still running.

Alpha Analytical continues to experience high demand for our media. If you are planning a sampling event, now is a great time to schedule it with us. For your convenience, Alpha offers pick up and delivery of our industry leading media to your office or project site in our service area.

Sampling Tip for Cold Temperatures

If you leave the media overnight in an unheated area, you may have media setup issues for indoor samples. An easy fix is to store the media at room temperature and always allow it to adjust to sampling conditions before starting to sample. Also, Alpha is now using anti-static bubble wrap to enhance the performance of our Flow Controllers.
