Maine Remediation Action Guidelines (RAGS) for Contaminated Sites Updated

Steve Knollmeyer by Steve Knollmeyer

ME DEP RAGSMaine has updated their Remediation Action Guidelines for Contaminated Sites (RAGs) on May 1, 2021.

Key changes to note in this update:

  • Maine DEP has added new categories and numeric guidelines such as for ambient air.
  • Petroleum RAGs are included, so there is no longer a separate petroleum RAGs document.

Alpha Analytical Data Merger platform has been updated to reflect the new Maine RAGs and the following sets of RAGs are now available in the Alpha online data platform (ADEX). In addition, we have entered all these numeric standards. Clients can compare their data to these standards in the DataMerger portion of our online data platform.
