As 2019 progresses, so does our events calendar. May-July projected to be quite the busy few months for Alpha filled with networking hours, seminars, trade shows, and more. May 19-23rd, Alpha’s Ralph Kocsis and Jim Occhialini exhibited at the 2019 NAEP Conference in Baltimore, MD. That Tuesday, May 21st, Jim Occhialini presented on the Potential for PFAS Cross-Contamination from Sampling Equipment and Associated Products.

The Alpha team wrapped up May with our annual sales meeting at the Crystal Springs Golf Resort in Hamburg, NJ, May 29-31, 2019. The team arrived on Thursday morning and kicked off the sales meeting with a round of golf. The following two days were spent with informative presentations on the successful growth from 2018-2019 in all major departments.
June quickly approached and our sales and marketing team took each week by storm. Our Mid West Alpha members Will Elcoate (far left) and Ben Dressman (2nd from right) attended the AIPG Conference on June 11 &12. Here they are pictured with Todd McAlary (Keynote Speaker from Geosyntec Consultants), Alicia Revezzo (Geosyntec) and Paul Nicholson (Geosyntec).
Our golf game was definitely up to par this month attending the Annual LSPA Golf tournament on June 11th as a gold sponsor and a few weeks later at the EPOC Golf tournament at the Lyman Orchards in Connecticut on June 26th. Golf wasn't our only strong suit this month. On June 12th, Alpha hosted a Maine PFAS Seminar at the Pierce Atwood office in Portland, ME. Beautiful weather and a packed house for a wonderful afternoon of presentations discussing the latest PFAS developments and regulatory updates. Our key speakers were Kerri Malinowski from Maine DEP, Liz Denly with TRC, Steve Woodard with ECT2, Ken Gray of Pierce Atwood, and Alpha’s Jim Occhialini. We can't thank our speakers and sponsors (ECT2, Pierce Atwood, TRC, and Woodard & Curran) enough for their support in this event! 
We wrapped up June with a lab tour of our Mansfield Facility on June 19th. The evening began with a networking hour catered by Struck Catering, followed by an introduction from our QA officer and a presentation from Jim Occhialini detailing out the analyses we perform in our Mansfield facility. Our group of attendees were then brought on an in-depth tour of our labs, getting an inside look at the Mansfield departments.
